Untitled 2 + Vocal (CAMS edit)

The only version of this new Wolfgang Gartner banger currently available online is a preview, but so it goes. The preview version is long enough to play out, however, especially now that I added a DJ intro. What really sold me on this is when the MC (who sounds like will.i.am) shouts out DJ AM in the second verse - even calls for a moment of silence for him. This will be big.

R.I.P. Brother

I can't tell you how much Adam has influenced me and how much I will miss him. I'll never forget walking into San Francisco's Mezzanine in July 2005 and seeing him DJ live for the first time. I'd never seen anything like that before in my life. I was blown away. That's the first time I truly knew that I wanted to make DJ'ing my life. Every time I work on new material now, I wonder what Adam would have thought. He did so much for me and for every other DJ on the planet. I will never stop trying to be as great as he was. Adam, I will miss you so much. Rest in peace brother.

Dub-style

So, how do you feel about the whole dubstep movement?

Let's be honest. In your average nightclub, your average dubstep track would probably freak out most of the "play me my Britney / Lady GaGa / Black Eyed Peas now!" clubgoers on the dance floor.

But let's expand our minds. For me dubstep can be absolutely RAW. The basslines drop the floor right out of the club. And come ON all you disc jockeys. You know you can find a track other than Hov's "Big Pimpin" to half time your dance party mix.

Check AM getting all dub-style at the WMC in Miami this year:

Whether or not you feel it, appreciate the art that is dubstep.

This M83 track is absolutely beautiful:
We Own The Sky (Udachi remix)

And if you know me, you know that I have a mad crush on Little Boots:
Remedy (Rusko's Big Trainers remix)

PS, for all you dub loyalists out there, give me a minute to catch up. ;)

The Mayor

A nice treat on my birthday...

The Cool Kids, Ghostface Killah, Scarface & the homie DJ AM unite on this spankin' new N.A.S.A. track.

If you don't know what the hell this whole N.A.S.A. thing is about, get to studyin'! And if these names alone don't make you want to check this, maybe you've stumbled upon the wrong blog, haha...
