Call Me Up

Here's my plan for the afternoon...
Throw the top back, lock this jam from the dudes Chromeo in the tape deck, and roll down the PCH watchin' that sun set.

All is well.

Credit to Bag Raiders for the excellent work.

Intimacy Remixed

I'm a big fan of Bloc Party. But I'm a bigger fan of the list of producers they've chosen to remix their latest album, Intimacy.

Intimacy Remixed will be released May 11th on limited edition CD and triple 12”, as well as digitally.

These 3 MASSIVE remixes off that album will get you warmed up nicely...

Bloc Party - Ares (Villains remix)

Bloc Party - Mercury (Herve is in Disarray remix)

Bloc Party - Signs (Armand Van Helden remix)

(You can also shell out some British Pounds and BUY the whole thing here.)

Somebody's Watching Me

Before GEICO started using this track for their stupid new commercials, there was the year 1984, when Rockwell and a then at-prime Michael Jackson hooked up for this R&B jam.

Now LA duo After Midnight grab this smash and do nothing but make it better. What makes a solid remix? Enhancing the best parts of the original song... Here the bass hits HARD. Drop this into your set for sure.

Rockwell - Somebody's Watching Me (After Midnight bootleg remix)

Don Diablo

If you follow the music blog world, you know that Holland's Don Diablo is massive in 2009 already. He's churned out a ton of remixes, but I've been holding out to post anything of his until I found something that really bumped.
Found it...

This track is a dance floor crusher, complete with dope MC work by J-Rock & Big Ed. Seriously I'm gonna have to start charging for these recommendations! ;)

Don Diablo - Get on the Floor (Don Diablo's just begun edit)

Baba O'Riley

SebastiAn put together a masterful edit of the original. I just had to build the intro up more. No-brainer dance floor destroyer.

The Who - Baba O'Riley (SebastiAn / CAM$$$$ edit)

I'm Not Alone

Mr. Harris brings us an absolute gem of a track on this one. Bet that you'll be hearing this blaze up dance floors all Spring and Summer, at parties outdoors or in, day or night.
