Tiga vs. Punks Jump Up

Tiga may be known more for his model shots than for his music, but I've always been a fan. Especially now that London's Punks Jump Up have raved-out his latest single. This is in HEAVY rotation on my computer and in my head right now.

And in case you missed it, I posted up their banging Australian Dollar Mix back in March.

Right Hand Hi

Kid Sister is fresh. Every track she releases is a party starter.

When I first heard her new single "Right Hand Hi," I initially thought of my boy Nate Mezmer, since he manages the gorgeous all-girl dance group Eight Count and this track seems like a sure-thing for one of their routines.

But after taking a listen yourself, you know you'll be wanting to hear our "Pro Nails" lady everytime you post up in the club.

Dub-style

So, how do you feel about the whole dubstep movement?

Let's be honest. In your average nightclub, your average dubstep track would probably freak out most of the "play me my Britney / Lady GaGa / Black Eyed Peas now!" clubgoers on the dance floor.

But let's expand our minds. For me dubstep can be absolutely RAW. The basslines drop the floor right out of the club. And come ON all you disc jockeys. You know you can find a track other than Hov's "Big Pimpin" to half time your dance party mix.

Check AM getting all dub-style at the WMC in Miami this year:

Whether or not you feel it, appreciate the art that is dubstep.

This M83 track is absolutely beautiful:
We Own The Sky (Udachi remix)

And if you know me, you know that I have a mad crush on Little Boots:
Remedy (Rusko's Big Trainers remix)

PS, for all you dub loyalists out there, give me a minute to catch up. ;)

APT 24: July 11th

Yes, CLUB HEAT all night. I'm very excited for this one!!

Awesome

When musical worlds collide, you often get something dope like this. We love creativity.

DIM MAK electro ragers The Bloody Beetroots teamed up with CHI-town MC duo The Cool Kids to bring the BPM's down from 130 to 90 for this banger.
