Christian Dior Denim Flow (CAMS short edit)

Amidst all the new material Kanye has released in recent weeks, this track remains one of my favorites. In DJ terms, (although some will find it useful) the original version transitions from 96 to 88 bpm halfway through, and has a 4-bar instrumental beat in the middle as well. So I laced up this short DJ edit adding an intro/outro and keeping the Yeezy and Pusha T verses as well as 2 hooks at 96 bpm... Bang it.

Way Out (CAMS drum edit)

Got an exclusive for you all...
Brand new heat from Big Sean's forthcoming album Finally Famous, produced by Kanye. The leaked version needed more drums to make it club-ready, so I did a simple edit to make it knock.
This is my JAM right now!

Poke Her Face

I saw this on a few blogs but for some reason didn't jump on it like I should have. My bad.

But with a head's up from my good friends - the amazing artist Maria and best of SF DJ Sam Isaac - I realized how hot this track is.

Are you kidding??? Kid Cudi, Kanye, and Common flowing over scratches by A-Trak, flipping the famous Lady Gaga beat? Add this to your playlist immediately.

808s & Heartleak

Power 106 mixers DJ Sour Milk and Just-N-Credible, aka the Los Angeles Leakers, threw this tight mix together in celebration of Kanye's new release. If you can just look past the audio samples of Kanye opening his mouth during interviews, 808s and Heartleak is a great summary of why we really love the man and are (sometimes) willing to look past his arrogance...he makes dope beats.

Tell Everybody That You Know

Mr. West's album drops next week, but as you know it is already all over the world wide web.
My Prankster Dice partner-in-crime Professor Bang and I took this confusing, beatless track (featuring Lil Wayne) from 808's & Heartbreak and reworked it for the clubs. I envision it working into my set around 1am, giving people a little half-time breather before building back up into a frenzy... Enjoy.

(Track removed by request.)

The Kickdrums

Um, why haven't I heard about The Kickdrums until now? Their new mixtape "Things Don't Change" is a big delicious pie of indie dance beats and hip hop vocals. It seems as though it's harder and harder these days to find a mixtape on which everything is good, but on here everything is.

Here's the standout track for me: Justice remixed MGMT's "Electric Feel" and then Steve1der added Kanye's "Touch The Sky" to it. One of the best mashups I've heard in a long time.

MGMT vs Justice vs Kanye West - Electric Feel (Steve1der mash)

Now grab the whole mixtape here and rock out. Also look out for the sick mashup of Black Kids with Lil Wayne...
